A day in the life...

It's the everyday things that make up the majority of our lives..right?

Well..I better write this stuff down before life passes me by and I forget.

This is a typical day, at this moment in my life.

4:45 a.m. alarm goes off. and on. and off. and on. Who gets up this early by choice? Yuck.

5:00 a.m. Out of bed. DON'T talk to me for an hour, it is better that way. Time to get dressed, get ready, pack my breakfast and lunch (protein shake and fruits and veggies).

5:45 a.m. Leave for work. I love living so close!

Work from 6amish-3ish. I love my job right now. My day flies by. Never a dull moment. I spend most of my day listening to calls, helping my team have the best calls they can. We are problem solvers and I love the crazy unexplainable situations we encounter all day. I rarely leave my area...lunch is my fruits and veggies. My daily treat is getting a Diet Dr. Pepper out of the bottle from the breakroom.  Ocassionally I will sit in the breakroom, maybe send a text or two..and if I am lucky, I can catch up on Facebook.

3:00 p.m. Leave for home. If it is raining or snowing, I pick up the kids. If it isn't...I meet them at home.  I have found that having them walk home gets some of their energy out and they are less likely to fight.

3:45-4:15 p.m.  Get the kids a quick snack. Get them to get as much homework as possible.

4:15-7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Get kids in car, with homework, pick up Lauren's friend Shelby and we are off to dance. Grab a quick bite to eat on the way home. I am glad to be able to take them to dance, thankful also for my hour of freetime while they are dancing. I peek in on them dancing, but also do things like make calls, balance my checkbook, read, catch up on things.

4:15-5:30 p.m. Wednesday/Thursday/Fridays. Pick some chores to get done. Do dishes. Make sure homework completed and in backpacks. Start dinner. Matt is home between 5:30-6. I love to have dinner waiting for him. I love eating together as a family. Jamie always reminds us to say prayers and thanks me for dinner, what a sweetie.

7:00-9:00 p.m. Clean up dinner.  Make sure kids get their baths, sit on the couch and snuggle with the hubs, watch a bit of TV, play on Facebook and my other games.

9:00 p.m. Bath time (ideally). Blow dry my hair.  TRY to get to bed. Make sure the kids get to bed...hugs and kisses.

10:00 p.m. Be in bed...do a bit of reading.

10:30 p.m. I should be asleep and ready to do it all again. It is a bit of a crazy/boring life, but it is my crazy/boring life, and I love it.

P.S. First blog post from my phone!! Booyeah!!
